The vision of the NUCOHS Clinical Research Unit (CRU) is to drive meaningful and ethical clinical research activities. Since its inception in 2017, a team of clinical research coordinators and assistants has supported clinicians in the day-to-day operations of clinical research projects and provided support services in submissions to ethics boards, material transfer agreements and liaison with stakeholders and governing bodies. Using available resources, the team has set up a test bed in a facility housed at the NUH Main Building to study NUS Faculty of Dentistry (FOD) research needs in order to channel this knowledge towards the development of the CRU in NUCOHS.
